Welcome to the guest book. We are alway seeking feedback to our site and we hope that you have found the information contained on the site interesting and informative. We seek to keep the ships memory alive long into the future and in order to do so we are always looking out for sea stories, dits, or snippets of information regarding the ship and her many deployments. Please feel free to comment on the site or suggest new areas that we could create in order to give the viewing public more of an idea on what our ship was about.

Comment: Nice site and I look forward to its further development. I have some photos from the early 1988 deployment to the Med if you're interested (dug out a couple of years back for my 40th - thanks Mum!). Mainly of Artificer Apprentice 863 entry during Sea Training, but may be of interest as an addition to her use for officer training purposes.

Comment: Any room for a Pongo from the "embarked force"? Good site, very interesting. Was in the Royal Engineers in 2C2 Mess. Flew out to Singers to join in Jan.'71. Sun-rise in Bugis Street etc. Flew the flag around the Far East then sailed back to the UK via Kenya, Bahrein, South Africa & Gib. Happy Days!......

I was more than happy to contribute towards ypur charity to have this piece of the old girl, and it now hangs proudly on the downstairs head door! Well done to you and your wonderful wife.
